Marcello Rinaldo founded Cantine Rinaldi with the production of wines and sparkling wines from his own vineyards

Ferdinando Rinaldi takes the reins of the cellar and expands the production of wines and sparkling wines
1930
Rinaldo Rinaldi transforms the cellar into Villa Rinaldi and defines its identity as Italian Maison de Négoce, specializing it in the production of Classic Method Sparkling Wines and great Valpolicella wines. The first Cuvées of Villa Rinaldi are born.
1979
The first sparkling wine aged in barriques is born: Barricaia Brut, a milestone of the Maison which establishes the elite production of the winery
1986
From the union of Corvina and Pinot Noir grapes comes what is considered an emblem of the winery's most extreme production: Barricaia Noir, the Classic Method Red Sparkling Wine.
1995
A uniqueness of Villa Rinaldi is the Classic Method Recioto della Valpolicella, revived in the oldest interpretation of the Veronese and family tradition.
1997
First gold medal awarded at the international wine competition Vinitaly at Villa Rinaldi
1999
Rinaldo Rinaldi's sons enter the Maison, bringing new knowledge that strengthens the specialization of the cellar.
